Simon, a seasoned director, begins shooting a film about workers' struggle to save their factory. But between his producer's scheming, egocentric actors and edgy technicians, he's quickly overwhelmed by events. Abandoned by his financiers, Simon has to face a social conflict with his own crew. His only ally in this hellish shoot is the young extra to whom he has entrusted the making of the film.
