Marinette Pichon had football in her blood from an early age. Raised by a courageous mother who had to cope with a violent husband, she overcame difficulties and forged an unfailing determination. While juggling odd jobs and a sporting career, she was selected for the French national team and then spotted by a major American club. Marinette came to the United States with her mother, pursuing her dream of becoming the best player in the world.
