Open to children and teens from Year 6 upwards, this beginner-level online class will spark your child’s enthusiasm for the language by giving them skills they can actually use in real life! Fun and interactive, the class involves lots of practice of speaking and listening through games, role-playing and descriptions of pictures. Young people will learn how to introduce themselves, describe someone, and discuss their family and friends. Grammar points will include the present tense and learning how to ask questions.

All our classes are taught by qualified, experienced native-speaker teachers.
Price includes 7 x 1h – all materials provided by the teacher.

To improve the experience and make the most of the online course, we ask all students to turn on their camera and microphone during class.

Level 2

Teens - Level 2

Term-time Classes

Open to children and teens from Year 6 onwards, this online class will consolidate and broaden your child’s basics of French and boost their confidence and enthusiasm. Fun and interactive, it will give them lots of practice of speaking and listening through role-playing, short presentations and descriptions of pictures. Students will discuss their family, daily routine, hobbies and holidays. Grammar will include how to use the present, past and near-future tenses.

All our classes are taught by qualified, experienced native-speaker teachers.
Price includes 7 x 1h – all materials provided by the teacher

Level 3

Teens - Level 3

For young people working at GCSE level. This interactive online class will help them grow in enthusiasm for the language and boost their confidence. Focusing on speaking and writing skills and addressing individual student knowledge gaps, this class will give them lots of opportunity to practise in a small group. Students will talk about topics such as future studies, media, health or the environment. They will learn helpful strategies such as how to expand a sentence or voice an opinion. Grammar points will include a revision of the main tenses and the use of pronouns.

Teens - Level 4

Term-time Classes

For young people who have passed a French GCSE or been working at A2 level (CEFRL) and might not have the opportunity to pursue French at college. This online class will give the students the opportunity to maintain their enthusiasm for the language and deepen their knowledge of French. Focusing on real-life interactions and practice, they will improve their vocabulary and grammar and learn more about French society, Francophone countries and contemporary cultural events. The skills acquired could enhance a UCAS personal statement and prompt the young people to get an official, globally recognised DELF diploma! Although it does not prepare for the A-Level exam, this class could nevertheless also be of benefit to A-Level students and help them become more confident with their use and knowledge of French.
